Dismantled and discarded our old Scandinavian teak bed in January to lay new laminate. Been sleeping with mattress on the floor since. Created this rustic cedar bed this last week and put it in place today. We like it.
Newcomers to Richmond commissioned us to create a 90″ “Solomon” style table with matching bench to go into their newly-acquired home. This couple and their home (and our furniture) will be featured on an HGTV “House Hunters” episode!
Customers from Earlysville, VA picked up the “Big Sur” solid walnut coffee table on Christmas Eve. Milled from rough 2.25″ walnut boards. Came out beautifully. This was a “father daughter” production, with Isabelle helping me on it. The last photo is at customer’s home. Click on the photos to see the detail.
An end table made for a neighbor just before Thanksgiving. This is made with red oak. Just big enough for some flowers, a book, and a coffee cup next to the lounge chair.
We created a walnut butcher block island top for a home in the West End of Richmond. The customer is pleased with the beautiful patterns in the wood. This walnut had some nice color contrasts. More photos later.
